We are operating a hybrid teaching schedule for summer 2021. This means that for people who are unable, or would prefer not to come to Edinburgh, the summer school will be conducted entirely online, and for those who can (and want) to come to Edinburgh, the summer school will be conducted both in-person (socially distanced) and online.
Coming to Edinburgh
Regulations and guidance as set forth by the Scottish Government and the University of Edinburgh are ever-changing, and so we appreciate your patience and flexibility as we prepare for the summer.
There are strict rules around the process for people entering Scotland and these will differ depending on where you are coming from. There are also differing rules for entry at different places in the UK and the rules for arriving at a London airport may be different from those arriving direct into Edinburgh.
The guidance is set to change from the 19th July 2021, depending on whether you are coming from a country on the red, amber or green list.
This page outlines what you must do before embarking on a trip to Scotland, and this page has information about entering the UK generally. Links are all at the bottom of the page too.
Please note that, given the current global uncertainty, you can be reassured that we have eliminated our cancellation policy for 2021. This means that, though forewarning is much appreciated, we will not penalise late or sudden cancellations.
As always if you have any questions please direct to the Administrative Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
